I am Jack Cenk Ozer, the founder and hands-on finish carpenter behind Wood Job Finish Carpentry.
Most of my clients know me as Jack. When they hire Wood Job, they are not hiring a faceless renovation crew or a company that disappears after the estimate. They are working directly with the person whose name and hands are attached to the work.
For me, finish carpentry is personal. The fit of a door, the reveal around casing, the joint in a baseboard, the miter at a corner, the nail line, the alignment, the final touch — these are not small details to rush through. They are the craft.
My connection to woodworking began in childhood through my grandfather, Selahattin, a master woodworker in Germany. From him, I learned that true craftsmanship is not only about cutting, fastening, and installing. It is about discipline. It is about measuring carefully, respecting the material, working cleanly, and never treating the final details as an afterthought.
Those early lessons shaped the way I work today.

The passion for woodworking was passed down to me, and I have had the privilege of passing it on to my son. Together, we founded Wood Job Finish Carpentry with a shared belief: a home deserves careful hands, honest communication, and finish work that feels intentional.
With over 30 years of combined experience, our work is rooted in traditional craftsmanship and supported by modern tools, accurate layout methods, and professional installation techniques. We bring old-world care into modern homes, creating clean, balanced, and refined interior details that stand up to close inspection.
Wood Job is intentionally not a high-volume renovation company. We are a small, detail-focused carpentry business for clients who value quality over shortcuts.
